The Mayan civilization added a very particular relationship with the concept of time and was using different calendars to understand precisely the influences that were ruling the present moment in which they were living. Each of their calendars is based on a deep knowledge of the movement of the stars and their influences on the nature and the human psyche. They were not cut in a random way like the Gregorian calendar that we are using nowadays and that give us a totally uncertain and illogical perception of events and time. But they are built from a precise observation of the Universe and its laws. The understanding of time gives the ability to understand the unfolding of our own life more smartly. The calendars were sacred tools that only shamans, counting the days, were able to use. They were based on which people were organizing their life and the activities of the village: the harvest, marriages, healing, ceremony… The secret of the calendars is hardly taught even today. From a Mayan point of view, these are too precious tools to be used without consciousness and special training. In the Tzolkin, one of the calendar, each day is assimilated with a Nawal, which has a specific energy and becomes the guide of each person born on this day. For a Mayan shaman, to discover and meet his Nawal is a fundamental and very important initiation. I had the luck, for inexplicable reasons, to receive through my meditations, many intuitions upon the deep signification of each Nawal and to be able to translate them through my own knowledge in modern psychology and oriental spirituality.

    The work that we offer here takes three different shapes according to the wish of the participants:

•    Individual session: initiation to his personal Nawal ,2h30, basic initiation to the different types of calendar et to calculate the energies of each day and a long psychological and spiritual description of the sign.
•    Collective sessions of initiation to the Mayan Calendar, 3h, presentation of the Mayan philosophy, group meditation to connect to the Mayan wisdom, initiation to the calendar and the way to use, simple description of all the Nawals.
•    Workshops of initiation to the Mayan Calendar, 3 to 5 days, immersion in the Mayan wisdom, meditations, initiation to his own Nawal, complete presentation of the 20 Nawals and their 13 tones, presentation of the different calendars and the way to count the days.

We have a book entitled: “The Mayan Signs and their interpretations” that precisely described how to use the calendar, to calculate the Nawals and the different calendars that are existing, and mainly the specific energy of each Nawal and its action through the day and the life of people who are born with its influence. It is the fruit of our personnal and subjective connection with the infinite wisdom of the Mayan civilisation, which has been silent for many centuries.
